HALF AN HOUR AFTER THE PULSE LABELLING WITH TRITIATED TDR,HARRINGTONINE WAS GIVEN IP AT 30 MCG/ANIMAL). 5 HOURS AFTER THE INJECTION THE DAMAGED LABELLED LEUKEMIC CELLS AMOUNTED TO 26. 1%, WHILE THE DAMAGED UNLABELLED LEUKEMIC CELLS WERE ONLY 11.9%. THE RESULTS (ADDITIONAL DATA WERE PRESENTED) INDICATED THAT HARRINGTONINE IS A NON-SPECIFIC AGENT ON THE CELL CYCLE AND THAT CELLS INS PHASE ARE SENSITIVE TO THIS DRUG. |
