IN MOST CASES, YOHIMBINE HAD NO SIGNIFICANT EFFECT ON THE MAGNITUDE OF THE RELAXATION TO NERVE STIMULATION. IT WAS CONCLUDED THAT NEGATIVE FEEDBACK REGULATION OF TRANSMITTER RELEASE, IF IT FUNCTIONS AT ALL, AND THIS SEEMS DOUBTFUL, WOULD NOT HAVE A SUBSTANTIAL IMPACT ON THE SIZE OF THE EFFECTOR RESPONSE.
