| Disease | THE TITLE COMPOUND STIMULATED PROTEIN CARBOXYLATION IN LIVER MICROSOMAL PREPARATIONS FROM VITAMIN K-DEFICIENT RATS WHEN IT WAS INITIATED BY VITAMIN K QUINONE PLUS NADH, BUT NOT WHEN IT WAS INITIATED BY VITAMIN K-1 HYDROQUINONE. THE STIMULATION WAS PRIMARILY DUE TO AN INCREASE IN THE INITIAL RATE OF CARBOXYLATION. INCREASING THE TEMPERATURE FROM O TO 20 C RESULTED IN AN INCREASE IN CARBOXYLATION, WITH A DECREASE OBSERVED AT 37 C. |
