DiseaseDAILY DOSING FOR 4-7 WEEKS. AFTER DOSING, EACH ANIMAL WAS GIVEN AN I.V.DOSE OF 42-K PROPORTIONAL TO THEIR BODY WEIGHT. ANIMALS WERE FROZEN IN ACETONE-DRY ICE AT VARIOUS PERIODS OF TIME FOR WHOLE BODY AUTORADIOGRAPHY. 42-K UPTAKE WAS MOST RAPID BY VISCERA. KIDNEY, HEART, SPLEEN, PANCREAS AND G.I. TRACT REACHED PEAK OF RADIOACTIVITY EARLIEST. 42-K UPTAKE WAS SLOWEST IN RBC AND BRAIN TISSUES. PATTERN OF DISTRIBUTION, KINETICS AND UPTAKE RATES OF 42.K IN GOSSYPOL-TREATED ANIMALS DID NOT DIFFER FROM CONTROLS.
