SMALLER LIVERS WERE SEEN IN IN THE TREATED GROUP(AS A PERCENTAGE OF BODY WEIGHT), KIDNEY WEIGHTS REMAINED UNCHANGED AND SPLEEN WEIGHTS WERE INCREASED. 1.8% OF THE INGESTED PYRROLIZIDINE ALKALOIDS WERE EXCRETED IN THE FECES(39.9% AS N-OXIDES) AND 26.8% WERE EXCRETED IN THE URINE (13.3% AS N-OXIDES).
