| Disease | GIVEN AS A SINGLE DOSE DAY 18 OF GESTATION. MALE OFFSPRING WERE STUDIED FOR CHANGES IN PLASMA LEVELS OF TESTOSTERONE, LH AND FSH. LEVELS OF NOREPINEPHRINE, DOPAMINE, SEROTONIN AND 5-HYDROXYINDOLACETIC ACID IN THE BRAIN AND HYPOTHALMUS WERE GIVEN. THESE PARAMATERS WERE STUDIED IN INTACT AND CASTRATED MICE. EFFECTS OF THE EXOGENOUSLY ADMINISTERED TESTOSTERONE WERE INVESTIGATED. WEIGHT CHANGES IN THE TESTES AND SEMINAL VESICLES AND THE TESTICULAR TESTOSTERONE LEVELS WERE ALSO STUDIED. |
