THE NUMBER OF INTERMEDIATE FILAMENTS WAS INCREASED IN BOTH NEURONAL AND GLIAL CELLS. VERY LARGE NUMBERS OF MICROTUBULES WERE PRESENT, SOME OF WHICH WERE ALIGNED, BUT MOST FORMED LARGE BUNDLES IN THE NEURONAL BODIES AND PROCESSES. SOME OF THESE BUNDLES WERE ASSOCIATED WITH A NETWORK OF INTERMICROTUBULE SUBSTANCE. |
