| Disease | A CONTROLLED CLINICAL TRIAL ASSESSED THE EFFICACY OF DIQUERTIN AS ADJUVANT THERAPY FOR THE TREATMENT OF ACUTE PNEUMONIA. IT WAS DEMONSTRATED THAT PATIENTS WITH ACUTE PNEUMONIA RECEIVING DIQUERTIN IN AN ADJUVANT THERAPY HAD A FASTER RECOVERY FROM SYMPTOMS OF PNEUMONITIS AND A BETTER STATE OF FREE RADICAL GENERATING PROCESSES IN SERUM LIPIDS, COMPARED WITH PATIENTS UNDERGOING TRADITIONAL THERAPY. THE CLINICAL EFFECTIVENESS OF THE ANTIOXIDATIVE ACTIVITY OF DIQUERTIN WAS CONFIRMED BY COMPARISON WITH AN ANTIOXIDATIVE COMPLEX INCLUDING ALPHA-TOCOPHEROAL ACETATE AND SODIUM THIOSULPHATE. |
