COMBINING THE CHOLESTEROL-LOWERING EFFECT OF FOODS CONTAINING PLANT STANOL ESTERS WITH A LOW-FAT, LOW-CHOLESTROL DIET MA IT POSSIBLE TO ACHIEVE A CLINICALLY SIGNIFICANT ADDITIONAL REDUCTION IN SERUM CHOLESTEROL CONCENTRATIONS BEYOND THAT OBTAINED WITH A LOW-FAT DIET ALONE.
